Our April

So April has been a pretty crazy, stressful, wonderful month.  About 3 weeks ago JDs face swelled up one afternoon.  We took him into the ER and found out he had an abscessed tooth.  So the following day we got in to see our regular dentist, who would not touch JD for the fact that his eye-sight isn't good and that his patience isn't what it used to be (his exact words).  So they referred us to a dentist down in Vancouver who just does kids.  So I called and made an appointment.  Long story short, 3 dentist and 1 Pre-Op appointments later, he had his tooth extracted and some other work done last Friday.  He is fine and well now.

Aaron and Katie had their baby-a week ago already!  They are adjusting to life as parents....enough said about that huge change in their lives.  Everyone who is a parent knows what I'm talking about.

With spring here, we have had a few really nice days where we have gone out and explored the woods.  One such day we took our dog, Lexie with us and she absolutely loved it.  She splashed in the creek and just had so much fun exploring all the new smells and sights.  Since we moved here, she has lost alot of weight-she's not a sausage anymore as Josh called her.

We also have 3 ducks now, and two chicks...the others passed.  We are hoping that in the next few weeks we can move the ducks outside with the hens.

JD's Friday School has ended and will start up again next fall.  Lily even came to visit one day and did really well.  We may enroll her for the next year.  JD had so much fun this time around.

That's about it for our April...except for planning our garden!
