Christmas

Early Christmas morning...while all is still quiet.

J.D. was the first kid to wake, so we went and showed him the tree.
His expression on seeing the tree.
Christmas Eve before the kids went to bed, they each wrote a letter to Santa and left a plate of cookies and a glass of milk for him. Well, Santa answered their letters.
J.D. seeing the letters Santa wrote back
and the cookie crumbs on the plate.

After presents were opened (no pictures were taken. I was using my new camcorder that Josh got me) we got ready for the family to come over.

After lunch we opened up more presents.

This Christmas was one of the most enjoyable one with lots of wonderful memories made.
Christmas is great when you are a child, but I think it's even more fun when you are a parent.

You are very wise susie, Yes time goes by so fast and the kids are grown and gone and I wonder why didnt I play or spend those moments with them then. Now its too late. I was always busy doing something else. I believe God spoke to you. I reall have guilt over my not spending time with mine. You are so wise!!
