Fall is Here! Well for me it is.

Well with September here, in my mind it is another new year. This is more than likely due to school than anything else. Forget January 1. For me its September 1!
For the people who know me really well, they know that Fall is my favorite time of year. Sure, September is still summer, but I consider it fall, for that is when the air gets crisper and the rain starts to come...not to mention the leaves begin to change into their beautiful earthly colors of red, orange and yellow.
I also think that fall brings a new beginning, instead of spring. Now Josh would contradict me and say that Spring brings new life, which I understand, but for me its a new refreshment! The cool weather after hot days. Cozy sweaters and hot cocoa! Yes, that's me.
And this year I have the wonderful privilege to watch the leaves change color and fall from a beautiful tree in our backyard. I have a fire place to sit in front of on cold nights while I (attempt to) read a book.
I am so thankful for God opening up this door for us to move into such a nice and big house. I am thankful that we can finally have pets and a yard for the kids to play in...along with the tree which is a blessing in so many ways!

The kids and I have started a new routine to our days. It has taken some time for all of us to get used to. In fact we are still working out the kinks. But we are being flexible which is a good thing to keep in mind when plans change last minute.
J.D. has started his "school time" and is loving it. He is tracing numbers and letters and doing such a good job. He is so smart and I want to keep his mind going, not letting him become bored.
Lily loves our playtime devotions and our exercise time. She uses it to dance. She loves music and loves to move.
J.D. is looking forward to going to the pumpkin patch and is already talking about Christmas. He has a list of things that he wants. He talks about his presents almost every day. I am a little disappointed because he won't have too many surprises on Christmas morning if he already has his heart set on his list. I wonder if he gets it from Josh.
