Relay for Life Sale

This weekend is our annual Relay for Life yard sale. This year, however, we are able to have much more room, along with plenty of shade because of our wonderful backyard!
We started preparing for the sale early in the week, getting the tables and items sorted through. Yesterday was spent setting up and the sale started bright and early this morning (along with some picking up of items that Lexie decided she wanted to take and chew on).
However, the weather was cloudy and misty so we did not get a good turn-out until mid afternoon. Despite the cold weather, people were happy and joked with us. One family even bought 16 cookies from Grandma! Mom got serenaded by a guy who claimed that he could sing exactly like Elvis (I had to hide my face behind J.D. so he couldn't see me trying not to laugh) and a guy told me that chickens only lay eggs at night....right.
Our friend, Nate, came by for an hour to play while his mom had some business to do in town. J.D. and Nate had a blast racing their bikes up and down the 'isles' of our sale.
Now its time to call it quits, get some rest and start back up in the morning...with the hopes of selling almost all we have ( I really do not want to be stuck getting rid of it all).

I'm so glad you're enjoying your house!

I have to say, it IS a bit strange still, even after living somewhere else for 6 months, to see the house being occupied! Lol.

Your Multnomah trip looked like a lot of fun! Oh, to have the time to go!!

Thanks for sharing!
