Anniversary Trip Day 2

We went to the Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport. Keiko (the killer whale from Free Willy) lived here for a time. Now in place of his tank, they have made it into a tunnel where you can walk through with sharks and stingrays swimming all around you.

Lily loved touching all of the sea creatures she could reach

J.D. enjoyed looking at them

Lily fell in love with this seal from the gift shop.
We bought it for her.

J.D. found Krabby Patties at the gift shop

We stopped in Florence at A&W for lunch. It is a tradition for Josh and I to eat here whenever we pass through.
Our next stop was at the Prehistoric Gardens. We stopped here on our way down to San Fransisco, but not to go through the gardens. I was pregnant with J.D. and needed a rest stop. Josh had commented on how it would be nice to go through there with kids. Well, we finally were able to...
J.D. was scared the dinosaur was going to eat him

Lily was scared too

These dinosaurs were built to scale. They two that we saw were pretty impressive.
I guess it was a good thing that we came through on Sunday and that the Gardens were closed.
