Anniversary Trip Day 1

We headed for the Redwoods on the 5th, taking HWY 101 down the coast. Josh and I did this drive before on our way down to San Fransisco and fell in love with the coastal scenery.
Our first stop was the Tillamook Cheese Factory for some pepperoni sticks and ice cream!

Then we continued on our way. We passed Neskowin, where as we drove by a campground, J.D. said "Papa Graber and bunnies!" He remembered from our trip last October. So we turned around hoping the campground would be open so we could see some bunnies, but it was closed.

We stopped for the night in Lincoln City and had McDonalds for dinner. The kids needed to burn off alot of energy and this place had a kids play area.

After we checked into our hotel room we went for a walk on the beach. The weather was perfect. No wind, and not too cold. Lily didn't care for the roar of the ocean waves, we had to hold her or her hand the entire time. J.D had fun finding rocks and drawing in the sand.
