Mother's Day

Mother's Day started out by us sleeping in which was very nice!
Then we went to church, and after the service, Josh took us out for lunch. This was another treat because if we rarely go to a sit-down restaurant.
We came home and Josh and the kids gave me my present.

I loved the card so much!
It was one of the best Mother's Day card's I have gotten.
Then afterwards J.D. and I went outside to play in the sun!
Sandi and Grandma came over for a couple minutes to drop off a special surprise for J.D.
TWO BABY KITTENS!!!
The girl (she is all black)

The boy (has white paws and a white tip on his tail. He also has white whiskers)

He is very cuddly
After we played with the kitties and got them settled in the garage temporarily, we then went and and played with Lexi and while daddy and Lily took a nap. We had fun playing fetch, then when she got tired we swung in our swings. It was a wonderful, relaxing afternoon.
When Josh and Lily woke up we got ready to go over to Papa and Grandma's for a dinner of kabobs and corn on the cob. We were just about to walk out the door when Lily started screaming. She had a terrible bloody nose, and blood in her mouth. We got the bleeding to stop and started looking for what she hurt herself on. Finally we found the evidence that she had pulled a coat rack off of the wall and it hit her on the way down.
It was a good Mother's Day, but above all, I am just so thankful to be a mom and to have the two blessings that I do.
I know that there are many women out there who had a lot of trails this past year, and so this Mother's Day was a hard one for them. I know because I was there once not that long ago. And people don't offer you a simple "Happy Mother's Day". So to all of you women out there who lost your baby or child this year, I want to give you a hug and tell you from the bottom of my heart "HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!" Because YOU are a MOM!
