Yesterday Josh celebrated his 31st birthday. We went to the coast to visit his mom on Sunday and we had a small celebration there as well. Then on Sunday night Josh took me out to dinner at Big Foots in Seaside. The food was great, and we got to enjoy a meal all to ourselves.
Yesterday Josh started the day by sleeping in with Lily, which is a rare occasion. She doesn't like to sleep in anyone else's bed, just her own.
Then he and J.D. went for a walk to the lake. After their walk, we had some cake with his brother Matt, his wife Lori and daughter Abi, his sister-in-law Shawna and her son Nathan, and my mom and Sandi..jpg)

Lighting all 31 candles on his cake.
It takes two people to light them all!

Thanks Lori for letting me use your pictures!
After that, I cooked up a batch of potatoe dumplings for Josh's birthday dinner. Aaron, Katie, Mom, Sandi, Jim, Lynn, Peter and Katie came over to eat them with us. It was a fun day and we enjoyed visiting with all of the family.
