We played a few games, had delicious cheesecakes, fruit and punch, and then I opened up the gifts from people. I was asked beforehand what we needed and I told people that we really didn't need anything. I was amazed at the uniqueness and crafty gifts we recieved.

Great Grandma Ostrand, Auntie Sandi, Kanessa,
Dena (holding Lily), Grandma Ostrand and Great Aunt Lynn

Judy P., Bonnie, Judy M.

Carrie made this adorable frog quilt for Lily
along with 2 bibs out of the extra fabric
Sandi bought a few things for J.D. as well

and slippers
Then last night our church had a movie night and showed the movie "Fire Proof". It was excellent. I had heard really good things about from a few people that had already seen it. When I woke up this morning, pieces of the movie were still on my mind. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone...its so good.
This afternoon Josh surprised me by getting us the movie AND the Love Dare journal. I was planning on getting us each one when he got paid next, but apperantly he really couldn't wait either! I'm excited to start the Love Dare challenge and will make a section of our progress along the side of our blog. If you are interested in what the challenge is about, you can check it out there.

Matt & I both enjoyed the movie, too. I didn't realize the love dare journal was available.
