A Fun Weekend

On Saturday a couple friends from church, Carrie and Sonja, had thrown a baby shower for Lily. The theme was frogs and the decorations were absolutely adorable! But you get that when you have two crafty people like Carrie and Sonja.
We played a few games, had delicious cheesecakes, fruit and punch, and then I opened up the gifts from people. I was asked beforehand what we needed and I told people that we really didn't need anything. I was amazed at the uniqueness and crafty gifts we recieved.

What a clever idea!

Sandi bought a few things for J.D. as well

Then last night our church had a movie night and showed the movie "Fire Proof". It was excellent. I had heard really good things about from a few people that had already seen it. When I woke up this morning, pieces of the movie were still on my mind. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone...its so good.
This afternoon Josh surprised me by getting us the movie AND the Love Dare journal. I was planning on getting us each one when he got paid next, but apperantly he really couldn't wait either! I'm excited to start the Love Dare challenge and will make a section of our progress along the side of our blog. If you are interested in what the challenge is about, you can check it out there.

Matt & I both enjoyed the movie, too. I didn't realize the love dare journal was available.

Frogs, I love frogs, too. What a great theme, and the quilt must be awesome! Take care....
