Christmas Party

The past few days have been busy!
Wednesday morning Josh hurt his back and ended up staying home from work. It hasn't gotten any better so he is going in to see a doctor later this afternoon.
For me, Wednesday was spent baking Christmas goodies and trying to get things ready for a Christmas party that my friends and I were going to have.
Yesterday Joyce dropped by with Savannah, Josh's great-niece. She and J.D. got to play together for awhile and got along great. This is only the third or fourth time they have seen each other. When it was time for them to go J.D. gave Savannah a hug and a kiss. I don't know what she thought, but she dogged his kiss pretty good.
After they left my friends showed up for the party. We had a great time visiting and playing a full game of Scategories. Sheryl brought along her son, Elijah. J.D. and Elijah got to play and have a great time. They were very well behaved and we hardly had to check on them during our game except for one time when we heard a loud crash and J.D. saying "uh-oh". No harm done, they just pulled over a laundry basket full of toys.
Both Denise and Sheryl had some good news to share.
Denise announced that her husband Crae, is now pro in his ultimate fighting, and Sheryl is expecting her second child later next summer.
