Finding the Perfect Christmas Tree

On Sunday we went to find our Christmas tree. I am posting late because I have been so busy getting things ready for Christmas. We are having it at our place this year and I am really excited to. But it is alot of work! J.D. and I finally finished our Christmas baking today. Mom, I now know why you did all of the Christmas baking while we were in school!!

Anyways, back to getting our tree. We planned on going to a Christmas tree farm that one of Josh's co-workers own, and his dad went to school with my dad. We had planned on going here last year as well, but Lily fell and cut her eye-lid open at the last minute, so we spent the afternoon in the E.R.

But not this year! We had no incident! J.D. was really excited to go get our tree, and Lily fed off of his excitement. I am always excited to go cut down our own tree.

So we headed out to Clatskanie, but before we went out into the trees, we stopped by the house to visit which was very pleasant and enjoyable. We will have to go back soon to visit again.

And finally, the moment J.D. and been waiting for...

I could just imagine loosing her on the tree farm.

We finally found the perfect tree and even got a ride back up to the truck. That was a highlight for us.

But to make the day even more special for J.D. he got his own little personal tree that he could decorate.
