A Day Out

Yesterday Dad and Mom stopped by and wanted to know if the kids and I wanted to go fishing and visit my Uncle Paul who had to have surgery on his leg a couple weeks ago. I of course said yes! So we packed up and headed out. We went to HorseShoe lake first, but was there just a few minutes before it started to downpour on us. So we headed for Uncle Paul's. The kids had a blast seeing the donkey, pig, goats and dog. And we even found a garter snake! I caught it and Lily touched it, but J.D. would go nowhere near him. After our visit we headed back to HorseShoe in hopes to catch some fish! The sun stayed out and we had good luck! All total we caught 4 fish. The kids and I caught 3, and Dad caught 1. Guess what we had for dinner. And it was delicious.
