What are Kids Made Out Of?

If you remember the rhyme, boys are made of snails and puppy dog tails while girls are made of spice and everything nice...
And if you know our kids, that is so not true!

J.D. likes to stay clean and Lily, well, she loves to get as dirty as possible. She doesn't care if she is sticky, sandy, muddy or wet.

The past few days have been rain, rain and more rain. So today when the sun showed its face and J.D. asked if we could go outside, I of coarse said yes.
So we put on our mud boots and headed out into the backyard.
First stop: The Girls

The kids love to go inside the chicken coop spend some time with the chickens.

Yes, Lily can catch the chickens all by herself.

Second Stop: The Mud Pit
J.D. loves to mix dirt and water and make "chocolate milk"

The only time J.D. does not mind getting dirty is when dirt is involved.
He is so like his daddy!
