I am on Chapter 3 of this book that I previously posted about (slow reading I know. But you can only read when time and kids allow). All three chapters have so much information and tips that I am taking notes.
Since I have started reading the book, it seems like my days are alot less complicated and stressful. I now go 'more with the flow' than 'it has to be done this way' attitude.
For instance, if what I have planned to do during the day ends up not working out, I have an alternate plan to go by. I also make up a list of my priorities to do for the day and the goals that I need to do to accomplish those. That also is a huge benefit for me. That way I don't get sidetracked on other things.
All ready my kitchen cupboards are rearranged to better work for me and my needs, the counters are more open to give me more space to work with, and today I cleaned my pantry and food cupboard, all while doing errands in town and spending time with the kids.
These past few days have truly felt 'homemaker-ish' instead of just a maid one day and a mommy the next.
