I have been having an inner struggle with finding a balance of being a mommy, wife and homemaker. I have prayed and tried new and different things. But I still do not feel at peace.
Personally, I hate dividing up my time amongst the three. I hate telling my kids "In a minute." or "Can you wait until I'm done ___________(insert chore here)?"
Well, I came across a book entitled Handbook for Christian Homemakers. I haven't been able to read much of it yet, just skimmed though a few chapters to see if it will meet my need. And YES! it does!! I am so excited! So many things have already grabbed my attention. I can't wait to sit down at night and read this book and gather what advice it has to offer for me.
I also picked up a second book, The Spirit Controlled Woman. The title is what got my attention. I'm not sure what it's about, but it certainly sounds interesting.

I fully understand what yoou mean about dividing your time, it is not easy, but Ive learned that everything doesnt have to be perfect. I believe all Moms understand what it is like.
