The Many Building Stages of Our Chicken Coop

Our chicken coop is slowly but surely coming along. Josh doesn't have a whole lot of time to work on it, just a few hours after work through out the weeks, but the progress is good.

Dad came over to help the first couple of nights

to put in an extra corner beam and the floor.

The next week was putting up the walls for the actual coop.

The roosters and hens are ready to be outside. Keeping them in boxes in the garage just wasn't good for them, so yesterday after Easter lunch we came home and while the kids slept Josh and I temporally finished the chicken coop. I say temporarily because we still need to wire off the chicken run and makes a door for us to be able to go in and out of the run as well as make some nesting boxes. But at least they are all outside!
