Surprise for Daddy

So after we left the park on Saturday, we stopped in at a feed store to see if by any chance they had baby ducks or chickens. They didn't have ducks, but they did have chicks. I called up Josh and told him they had some. We ended up buying 4 more, this time around we have hens. We still have the other 4 but will soon give those to someone else.

J.D. is really partial to black animals, so we got two black chicks and 2 yellow chicks. With our last batch that got sent to us he saw one black one and was quite disappointed when the black one got sick and "went home".

When Josh got home from work that night J.D. met him at the door and said "Come on daddy. I got a surprise for you." He took Josh into the room where we had the new chicks and said "Surprise daddy! The black ones are all better now!" He thought they had come back! How cute is that.
