PHEW! We are moved!

After ALOT of hard work we are finally moved! We could not have done it without dear friends and family who offered their hands. THANK YOU so much to David, The Narvesens, The Leingang family, The Cummings, Mom and Dad and Aaron.
Thanks also to Denise, who was willing to come up on her one day off from work and help me clean the new house with her handy steamer we got alot done.
Friday was spent cleaning as much as we could before the big move on Saturday. With help from Denise and mom, we split up and took different rooms and conquered so much in so little time.
Saturday came and Aaron showed up at our doorstep (his now) at 7:45AM. He and Josh headed to work to get the delivery trucks (thanks to Mike for allowing us to use both trucks). They came back and started to load up. Other helpers arrived a little before 9, and in no time the last minute items were packed and loaded. It was a steady stream of people coming in and out, taking things to the trucks. When we felt we had done as much as we could there, a handful of us went to the new place to start getting things ready. We were not there very long when the first truck arrived. Boxes were put in their right rooms, and thanks to Sonja and mom, things began to get unpacked and put in their places. I am so incredibly thankful to those who took charge and just put things away, or told the guys where to put the furniture. That itself was a huge help to me. After lunch we lost quite a bit of people due to a special ceremony for Peter, but Dave and Aaron stuck to it and continued to move things over. I cannot say 'thank you' enough to all of you who helped.
Sunday was spent at going to church then cleaning our "old home" which is now Aaron's new home. Three years we lived there with no big accidents, and just within minutes of us getting our inspection, Lily spilled over a can of paint all over the living room carpet. Needless to say we were a little stressed and disappointed, but Aaron was laughing and hoping to get a new carpet (we still haven't heard from our previous landlords about the situation). But with some awesome cleaner which I will gladly endorse any day...QUICK 'N BRITE we got it out! Alot of Quick 'N Brite, water and a wet vac! We can almost laugh about the situation now....almost...until we find out if we loose our deposit or not.
Monday was spent very frantically trying to unpack the rest of the kitchen and finding new homes for things, while trying to back a birthday cake and get ready for a party.
We didn't take too many pictures because of all the craziness that was going on, but here are just a few that Josh did take...

Some finishing touch-ups

Getting the rest packed and loaded
