Christmas

We had our own little family Christmas on Christmas Eve day because we were going to the coast for the holiday.
It's James!

It's a Speed board game!

This is my most treasured Christmas present from Josh.
The cross holds the birth stones
for our two babies that are not with us.

For Josh's big present I got him a digital photo frame

My Mandie movie!!

After opening our presents we packed up and headed to the coast to celebrate Christmas with Josh's mom and the family there.
We ate, opened presents, then went to the candle light service at the church he used to attend. It was fun to see familiar faces and talk to Pastor Dan Dunn (the pastor who married us and who mentored Josh throughout the years).
The pastor gave a message on the sheppard's and how they were the first ones told about Jesus' birth, and also how there is a huge movement underway to take Christ out of Christmas...ever since a court ruling from the 1960's.

J.D. got a Roy jersey

Christmas Day we celebrated with dad, mom, Sandi and Dustin, Aaron and Katie.

We opened presents, ate and played a new game that involves writing and drawing on separate sheets of paper that you pass around so that everyone has a turn either at drawing what they read, or write what they saw. It was great fun and lots of laughter that involved reindeer, mummified sweet-hearts and a scary guy with a locked box over his head playing ball with a one-eyed kid.

It's a Speed Car!

It's Lily's turn to open a present

Mom got a fleece suit from Dustin

Lily is curious about her new doll

J.D. got a sleeping kitty that breathes, meows and purrs
from Great Papa and Grandma Flach

Aaron got a Ped-Egg for part of his present

J.D.'s new tools

My label maker!
It even does symbols....see Santa?
I also got another photo box, but this one has individual compartments
so my pictures are even more organized!

Josh got a new house plant, a pot and some potting soil
(Yes, he did ask for dirt for Christmas).
