Today during Bible Study we were asked a question about a statement Jesus made in John 6:36. "You have seen me and still you do not believe."
The question was how Jesus could make this same statement to us about our relationship with him.
I shared how things get tight for us financially each month, and yet God provides for all of our needs. We have a home, food and we are not behind on any of our bills. However, when things are beginning to get tight, we often start to become worried about food, or this bill or gas or whatever we need money for, but God always provides.
Today was another proof that He did it AGAIN.
We were unable to pay health insurance at the beginning of the month and I was waiting for Josh's next paycheck. Just yesterday we got a letter in the mail saying we owed another amount for $83. I called up the insurance company today and asked how much we owed total...waiting for the lady to say both amounts, knowing we couldn't afford both. She looked up our file and said that we only owed the $83 and that it wasn't due until April! Since Lily had been born at the end of January, I paid full coverage for January and February. They did not process her paperwork until the end of last month, which gave us a "roll-over" this month.
Why do we keep doubting when he always meets our every need?

So true! Praise Jesus, yes He always supplies our basic needs "when we need them" not necessarily before. But we are humans and get worried. He promises to supply our needs, He always has done so here at my house. Praise God for his grace, mercy and strength and building our faith.
We serve an amazing God! Why do we have so much trouble remembering it? :o)
