Merry Christmas!

This year for Christmas I was especially excited for J.D. to open up a few of his gifts. We bought him a kitchen set with dishes, pots and food since he is really big into pretending now. We bought the set after Thanksgiving, and I have been anxiously waiting for him to play with it ever since.

J.D. did not go to bed until after 1 in the morning Christmas Eve, so that meant Josh and I had to stay up until almost 4 in the morning setting it up and getting it ready to play with. I am glad we did though, because the look in his face and the time he spent exploring it and playing with it was well worth the lost sleep. In fact, I was so excited that I was awake at 8:30 in the morning waiting for Josh and J.D. to wake up. The "little girl" in me wanted to jump on the bed to get them up.
I really enjoyed this Christmas. It was probably one of the best one's in my adult life. Here are some of my favorite memories and pictures of our Christmas....
