When Josh has a day off work, he heps do errands around town (which I am so thankful for!). He worked Sunday, so he had Monday and Tuesday off. Well, both days were busy.
Monday we did are usual running around town, paying off bills, but we also have started 'splurging' on ourselves and go out to eat at a small restaurant downtown once a month.
J.D. also had his first true "hair-cut". I was bracing myself for a huge change in his looks, but the lady who cut his hair just trimmed his curls. Not much of a hair-cut. I don't know if I am relieved or disappointed.

Tuesday I was hoping to get things started in J.D.'s room, making room for the baby furniture that needs to come back inside, but the day held a few twists and a surprise for us.
We ended up taking my Grandpa in to the doctor for a few tests which lasted a couple of hours. While this was going on, my sister was at the hospital with her boyfriend who was going in for an appendectomy. So when we dropped my grandpa and grandma off at their home, we hurried back to town, grabbed a bite to eat and headed down to Salmon Creek to visit Dustin who surprisingly was doing quite well after his ordeal. You would have never known that he had been in surgery earlier that day, and it wasn't due to the pain meds that he was on, because he didn't have any in his system.
This morning I had my MOPS meeting, which I am enjoying very much. Two weeks ago we had a guest speaker who was amazing, and gave us moms some really good tips on managing stress and prioritizing our lives. At the meeting this morning, people were still talking about him. We did a small, simple craft today and had a fun time visiting and playing a game.
Phew! and the week still isn't over. Sandi's birthday is Saturday, and Dad's is Friday, mom's is the day before Thanksgiving, so I have some birthday shopping to do! Along with getting ready for Thanksgiving. Then comes Christmas....
