Another Busy Weekend

This past week was a little crazy for us. It seemed like one thing after another.
Josh and a few of the older youth from church, along with another leader, went camping over night at a new state park on HWY 26. They did a Bible Study on leadership and had a great time.
On Saturday mom, J.D. and I picked Sandi up and went shopping in Vancouver and Portland. Afterwards, we went and picked up Sandi's brand new 2008 Scion. I had to drive it out of Portland for her. I'll post a picture of it when I get one.
On Sunday Josh preached at our church as a fill-in while our Pastor was at a retreat. His message was on what he calls "name tag Christians" (people who claim they are Christians, but do not have a relationship with Christ). His mom came down for the day to hear him preach.
After church, we went out to eat, then got our pictures done at Wal-Mart with her. She had not yet had a formal picture with J.D. up until now.
Today we got a surprise visit from Corey, one of Josh's brothers, who was in town for a bit. It was good to see him, even though it was short.
